This week I was able to get another border for my Heart's Desire ready to applique and got the scallops stitched down. I used my small travel iron to starch and press down the edges, and did not hurt my arm.
My son has had fun with the smoker, we did sausages and some summer sausage. Lots of work but oh so yummy.
I also am revisiting a wall hanging I made. You know all the beautiful fabrics you never want to cut up in your stash. Not sure why you bought it or what you wanted to do with it but it was too beautiful to pass up. Well here is what I came up with using a piece of oriental fabric I fell in love with. Enjoy the photos. Don't forget to pop over to Esther's blog, link on my sidebar.

Yes the sausages look very good!
As for the fabrics, some quilt fabrics are more suitable to just gaze at...not cut into. I know what you mean. Love it all Bunny!
Oh this is so funny, when I saw your intro photo I thought gosh those look like sausages but they can’t be!!!!, I just had to drop in straight away for more info and they are sausages???????? There is nothing nicer than homemade ones. Love what you did with the oriental fabric Bunny. Hugs
