WIP WEDNESDAY

I missed WIP last week, but it has been an interesting and exciting week. I found 3 first cousins that I had never known, and one of them lives only 13 minutes away and he and his wife invited us for lunch on Saturday. They were so welcoming and it was so nice to get to know them a little. I am sure we will have many more times together. Hopefully someday I will be able to meet his sister and brother as they both live out of town. There is always something new around the corner you never know. It is so exciting.
I am still wearing a sling but have managed to get one of my borders for my Hearts Desire and the four heart corner baskets are ready to apply when the other borders are done. I will have to wait for a few weeks till I am out of this sling.
Hope everyone checks out the WIP link on my sidebar to see what everyone is doing.

It is fun to see relatives that you haven't seen. It's nice that they live so close.
Your border fabrics are wonderful. It looks like you're a little farther than me. I can't wait to see it finished (and mine finished).

Bunny the colours are fab on your hearts they look super, it is so great to see that you can at least still sew a little; and have made such progress on your leaves and small circles. Gosh I do love your colours. Hugs

Lovely work you are doing in spite of your sling. Glad you have discovered some happy relatives, it sounds like you all enjoyed the meeting, hope there will be more of that in the future.

Please email me your postal address if you would. Someday I might want to send you something:-)

Hi Bunny...*hugs*
How fun to find new family and living close too. You will have a nice Thanksgiving get together with them....hope you get to meet the others as well.

Great start to your sewing too....

Hopefully you are starting to feel more like your own self..and not too long for the sling to come off I imagine.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving....enjoy...
Blessings.
